you're probable right to an extent when you say I expect the show to be to logical, it's just that as I pointed out, even with a show like Xena, I believe they have to stay within certain boundaries.
Like you, I certaintly love the pure entertainment value of the show, and all of Xenas fighting skills, yet still feel she has to remain mortal, otherwise they may as well just give her a lasso and an invisable plane and call her Wonder Woman.

I was tired of the hurt/comfort scenes by Season 6 especially that scene in the cave in the Abyss. It seemed forced.

I didn't like the 25 yr leap on a count of Joxer having to get old.

I have no problem with criticism. That's what makes life better. But what I'm reading is that you may be putting too much logic in the show instead of enjoying great entertainment. I learned long time ago that logic is thrown out the window on some of the things we watch on TV. I used to criticize the doctor show because I know some of the things their doing doesn't happen in real life. But I stopped seeing the logic and just enjoyed the rest of the show.

Like rsine I thought the soulmate/love thing got laid on a bit too thick in the last season. I also dislike the whole SuperXena bit though it certainly predated S6.

Had decidedly mixed feelings about the introduction of a pseudo-Christianity on the show in S5.

Didn't like the slide into bathroom humor (though ISAIH had some very funny moments).

But seeing as how we're all fans of the show here,[and all nice friendly people as well] I guess there's no harm in some gentle criticsm.
